Andrew Logan Museum

25 Years at Glittering Andrew Logan Museum starts with Cosmic Colossal Easter Egg-Stravaganza

Andrew Logan

In 2016, the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture in Berriew, Wales, celebrates an auspicious 25th anniversary.  Opened in 1991, the museum houses a glittering selection of Logan’s signature sculptures and jewellery.  Original costumes and memorabilia from his renowned Alternative Miss World pageants are also on display alongside the Cosmic Egg, a ‘shrine’ to the late Divine - one of many works inspired by the artist’s friends and muses -, and other dazzling treasures.

At Easter, the first time in 2016 the museum opens, it is celebrating with an Easter hunt, a Fortum and Mason's 1.4kg Colossal Egg raffle and Cosmic Egg colouring.  Silver sweet treats abound for this, the museum's Silver Anniversary Easter.

One free raffle ticket will be given to each group paying their entrance fees (£1 otherwise).  Fortum and Mason's Colossal Egg weighs a mighty 1.4kg and fits five different flavoured, beautifully and carefully wrapped eggs inside: milk chocolate caramel, chocolate orange, chai, F&M's signature Rose and Violet and, at its heart, silver wrapped Mitcham Mint.  A true taste adventure and a feast for the senses – just like the museum.

Have yourself a Cosmic Easter and see our Egg, a Colossal one by entering the raffle, a silver one by accepting a small sweet treat, and a super sparkling one by visiting the museum and experiencing all of this under one roof.  Happy Easter!

The museum is open 12 – 4pm on Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and Saturdays and Sundays throughout June, July, August and September and by arrangement.  Entry is only £3.00 (concs £1.50).  Family tickets £8.
