CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN SESSION 2017
Friday 1 December 2017
Early Music at the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture with
PARSLEY'S CLOCKE
Doors 8pm, Music 8.15pm, Tickets include supper

Start your December with some sparkle at the Andrew Logan Museum.  We’re switching on our Christmas lights to brighten up these darkest of dark nights and, boy, do our exhibits shimmer!  This year, we're going all 'Early' – with music from the incredible ladies of Parsley's Clocke and our very own sumptuous repast of Barley Pottage with Beer Bread, inspired by Elinor Fettiplace.

Parsley's Clocke was formed by a group of friends to passionately play medieval and renaissance music. The group embraces all eras of music and play a variety of instruments including baroque and renaissance recorders, crumhorns, hurdy-gurdy, celtic small pipes, viola da gamba, psalteries, keyboard and assorted percussion.  Join us and the Parsley's Clocke consort of Kate Brown, Ciska Burrows, Jillian Burton, Anne Duckers and Chris Green for a fabulous evening of music, food, warmth, light and joyfulness to really kick-start your Christmas countdown.

“I've been wanting to host some Christmas Early Music for a while now” said Anne-Marie Pope, the Museum's Administrator, “This will be an extra special kick off to your Christmas countdown, with introductions to these amazing instruments, played by equally amazing ladies. Medieval inspired supper is included in the ticket price.

Parsley's Clocke will play at 8.15pm, with doors at 8pm.  Tickets are £12 in advance, and can be bought from the museum, Andrew Logan website (http://andrew-logan.myshopify.com/collections/tickets-for-events), or in person at R H Bunners, Montgomery.  Door price is £15.  Price includes sumptuous repast!
