If you are looking for luxurious food served in a modern dining area with beautiful river views then look no further than the Elephant and Castle Hotel Newtown.

The newly opened Riverside Restaurant offers an eating experience like no other in the Newtown area, with seasonal menus made with produce from local businesses. Guests can complete their restaurant experience by staying in one of the many hotel rooms including the executive Riverside rooms.

This 17th century inn has both a restaurant and a bistro packed with period features and offering varied menus including ranges of seasonal specials, mainly fish and all accompanied by our fine selection of wines.

This traditional village Hotel boasts a 30 seat Restaurant, 14 seat Dining Room and snacks available in the Bar. The menus are many and varied and all food is home cooked, featuring such specialities as Celtic Pride Welsh beef steak, and award winning bacon products from Neuadd Fach. Always a popular venue it pays to book, particularly at weekends.

As well as a fine selection of beers, wines and spirits the red lion is now open for home prepared and cooked food on Friday and Saturday nights from 6.30pm.

We are also offer Sunday lunch from 12 noon to 2.30pm
