The Berriew & District Horticultural and Agricultural Show takes place on the Saturday of every August Bank Holiday weekend. The one day event showcases local livestock, produce and handicrafts, food and drink, horse craft and our canine friends as well as providing family fun for all. The show, now in its 8th decade, attracts entrants and visitors of all ages from many miles around to our picturesque village and is an annual reminder of the strength of our community. Each year the Show Committee aims to make the show an integral part of village life.

Thanks to the tireless work of our committee and support of countless vounteers, helpers, judges, sponsors and visitors, our Show is now one of the major agrciultural, horticultural, craft, food, drink and social events in the local calendar.

​Outging President Bryan Thomas is clear about the place of the show in the local calendar.

“The Show is the centrepiece of village life and has been since the very first Show which my mother, Iris Thomas, attended. Everyone is welcome,” said Bryan. “The day is a showcase for our village and we welcome people from near and far. I hope you have an enjoyable day.”
